2012 Improvements
As we move into 2012 we are, as always, continuing to improve our services to our clients.
Obviously improving our fleet and equipment is one priority and in the last couple of Months we have introduced several new vehicles to our fleet and have expanded our range of services with the purchase of new equipment and training. With this we are able to continue our success in providing our clients with services that have helped LCM acquire a reputation for safety, innovation and customer services within our industry over the last 24 Years.
One such purchase is that of several Harben Jetters. These 4,000psi high pressure jetters are already out on the road being used by our Tank Cleaning Teams on Fuel Terminals, Forecourts and assisting our clients in maintaining their storage facilities bunds, lateral lines, gulleys, culverts, interceptors and tanks.
Along with updating and expanding our plant and equipment LCM Environmental are now, thanks to our success in maintaining and winning Nationwide contracts, looking to expand our work force so we can continue to provide our clients with the best service possible.
We are looking for the following employees,
- Project Manager, a recognised PM qualification although not essential would be an advantageous
- To oversee, coordinate and take responsibility for a range of garage forecourt projects including closure, demolition and tank removal
- The job has a high degree of responsibility that requires integrity, resourcefulness, self-motivation and the application of confidentiality. Due to the varied demands of the job, the individual will be well organised and able to respond to changing priority levels, at times on a day to day basis
- Due to direct communications with clients and local authorities, excellent IT, verbal and written communication skills are required
- Due to the handling of commercially and economically sensitive information, absolute confidentiality is essential
- Working away Monday to Friday and some weekends if required
- Salary package dependent on experience
- South West area
- Site Managers, a recognised Site Supervisors qualification would be advantageous
- Garage closure and decommissioning experience essential

- Midlands area
- 360 machine driver, blue ticket essential
- Experience on small demolition works and use of attachments such as grabs and cutting sheers preferred
- Work away Monday to Friday and some weekends if required
- Starting salary £22,000
- South West area
- Garage forecourt operatives, to work with our pipefitters on forecourts
- Pipefitting experience preferred but not essential
- Work away Monday to Friday and some weekends if required
- Starting salary £16,000 but dependent on experience
- Southampton and South West areas
- Oil Spill Responders
- Experience and OFTEC qualification preferred
- Work away Monday to Friday and some weekends if required
- Salary dependent on experience
- Ipswich and South West areas
