Bio-Klenz® Tank Cleaning

If LCM Environmental and Tanknology UK Ltd’s Petroscope Tank Inspection teams have discovered that sludge and Bacteria have contaminated our clients’ storage facility and fuel it is not the end of the road.

As LCM Environmental have a wealth of experience in cleaning all size tanks and storage facilities, from small forecourt storage tanks to Europe’s largest fuel storage terminals. We have developed a service in conjunction with Petroman Ltd. and Tanknology UK Ltd. to offer our clients’ a service that is second to none.

To remove the sludge and any trace of Bacteria our Tank Cleaning teams will enter the tanks and clean them using jet washers and uplift the washings and sludge to one of our Petroleum Regulated Tankers. The storage tank, filters and pumps are then cleaned down with Bio-Klenz® to eradicate any potential for Bacterial infection of the fuel and tank. The fuel that will be placed back into the tank is also treated with Bio-Klenz® using our Fuel Treatment and Polishing services.

Regular internal inspections of the tank using Tanknology UK Ltd’s Petroscope camera in conjunction with LCM Environmentals Petroleum Regulated Tankers, to hold and bottom out tanks, ensures the condition of a tank can be monitored at all times and if the condition deteriorates then this will be reported using a qualified corrosion engineer who can provide detailed analysis of the tank condition and make recommendations as to future action.
