Tank Management

Internal tank space can be difficult area to maintain, until now it has been impossible to clean, maintain or even view internal space without specialised equipment and one of the highest risk operations that LCM Environmental undertake, manned entry.

Manned entry to any confined space is high risk but add fuel vapour and explosive atmospheres to that mix and you have an extremely high-risk operation on your hands and luckily one that LCM Environmental can handle with ease but it was the increased demand for these operations that made us look at developing a tank management system that would eliminate the need for manned entry all together.

What we came up with is ‘Tank Management’. This service is similar to all our other services, in that it incorporates everything our clients’ need to manage their tanks safely and efficiently.

We have incorporated two of our Partnered Companies with this service, Tanknology UK Ltd. and Petroman Ltd. Both offer services that aid our clients in managing their storage facilities without the need for manned entry.

LCM Environmental and Tanknology UK offer a complete service for internal Tank Inspections through the use of Tanknology UK’s Petroscope camera, a service we have offered for some time and is used by several of our Blue Chip clients.

LCM Environmental and Petroman Ltd. offer a Fuel Treatment using BioKlenz®, a product marketed by Petroman Ltd that eradicates any Bacteria that may have built up inside the tank.

LCM Environmental offer a Sludge Removal service using our sludge removal device. This device enters the tank through the fill pipe and cleans the internal space of the tank remotely, meaning no need for high risk manned entry tank cleaning.

Our Tank Management services offer our clients’ a one-stop shop for all their internal tank management issues.
