APEA awards success

Two weeks ago LCM attended the APEA Awards ceremony with a mix of our staff and clients. It was a spectacular night with great entertainment and presenting from the BBC Breakfast’s Bill Turnbull, the highlight of the evening for LCM was the announcement that one of LCM’s Site Manager Tim Bown had won the coveted prize of The Outstanding Employee of the Year within our industry.

Tim joined LCM Environmental (then Liquid Cargo Management) in June 1994 as a Tank Cleaner but his leadership skills and mechanical aptitude were obvious and he soon progressed into a senior manager, over the years LCM has strived to develop new and innovative services and Tim has been at the forefront of them all. He is a superb ambassador for LCM and the fuels industry as a whole.

The award was well received by Tim who’s words of wisdom brought a great cheer from all present.

If that wasn’t enough to top a great night, LCM also won the prestigious Fuel Installation of the Year award for our recent fuel filling pontoon installation at Swanwick Marina.

Having fought off some impressive nominations for this award all present were overjoyed when LCM were announced the winner. LCM’s Project Manager, Mark Sluman, collected the award with great fanfare and the joy of winning two prestigious awards within our own industry was obvious for all to see as both LCM staff and our clients present cheered the house down.

LCM are proud to be seen in such light by our industry peers.
